Betty Jean Couture is a full service apparel company focused on meeting the high fashion needs of plus size (10-3X) women. We believe All women adore looking their best regardless of their profession and independent of their size and shape.

Our design team invest hours developing ideas that compliment and flatter any woman’s figure. We also spend a ton of time choosing fabrics that delivers the couture experience but also leaves plenty of room in the budget to accessorize any of their purchases

Born Betty Jean Morgan in Crowley Louisiana November 14th 1937 she moved to Pasadena California at age 18. Her first career profession was a licensed vocational nurse at Lavina Hospital in Altadena, California. She later received her RN degree all while being a devoted wife and raising a family (5 boys, 1girl)

Her life was devoted to public service, so after years of nursing she changed careers and later became a primary school teacher. Her students absolutely loved her, even though she was a strict disciplinarian, many of the parents would ask “how were you able to get my child to pay attention long enough to get his work done.” I never heard the answer but having 5 kids or her own she always she was never short on inspiration.

In September of 1984 Betty Jean was called heavenly after a second battle to Breast Cancer. She is survived 5 sons and one daughter. Two of the son’s Kenneth and Jerald decide to create a living memorial to their mother through launching a clothing company that dedicated itself to delivering high quality clothes that are targeted at all women and at prices that are affordable. This was exactly how she pursued education. Focus on delivering high quality education and make it available to everyone who is eager to learn.

We miss her, but the legacy she left will be span 7 generations
